We had a great time supporting The Family Network last weekend! What a great way to spend my first Mothers Day!!

It's Final!!

Sorry to put the cart before the horse here, but I just wanted to let you all know that it is official! We have completed our adoption and our baby girl is officially ours forever and ever! We finalized on March 8, 2012 and it was the most amazing day!

I have just finished our "Greatest Gift" page and will be working on wrapping up the first 6 months here shortly... sorry for taking so much time off in between! For now, here is a picture of our little angel and a group of supporters on her very special day.

First of all, thank you for checking out our blog! 

Oscar and I wanted to start this in order to reach out and help other adoptive parents be they new parents, prospective parents, or undecided. We hope that from reading about our journey you will have at least one perspective on adoption to pull ideas and experience from. 

We have found there are many views on adoption, but know that the only opinion that matters is your own. Thankfully, there are a lot of resources for adoptive parents; you just need to know where to find the veritable ones. We are offering up a variety of resources for you all from fun things to do to alternative medicines to agencies that we would recommend.

Please feel free to comment, contribute your experiences and ask questions. I will continue to update this blog as we continue on our family journey... our first adoption will not be our last!
